Backend Engineer (Kotlin), Create: Editor Extensions
GitLab is looking for a Backend Engineer with experience in Kotlin to join the Create: Editor Extensions team. You will work on cutting-edge AI enhancement projects and expand IDE support for Jetbrains IDEs using Kotlin.
Skills
- Kotlin professional experience
- Professional experience with Jetbrains IDEs
- Experience with Build systems and Frameworks/libraries
- Experience with performance optimization
- Proven Database skills
- Experience with Web development using Kotlin/Java
- Proficiency in English language
Responsibilities
- Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance
- Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
- Define and improve internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
- Represent GitLab and its values in public communication
- Provide mentorship for Junior and Intermediate Engineers
- Collaborate on larger projects
- Improve engineering projects at GitLab
