We are Givaudan. Human by nature.From nachos to nuts, when we think of having a snack, there’s often the dilemma of choosing between ‘healthy’ and ‘indulgent’. But, consumers no longer need to make that choice: it’s possible to have both. Snacks have largely been regarded as a traditional segment, but the past decade has seen converging trends give rise to an explosion in new thinking. The sweet goods segment covers a vast range of product types, from baked goods such as biscuits, crackers and cereals, to confectionery such as chewing gum, chocolate and sweets. Even within such a broad segment offering, our focus remains constant: co-creating with customers and external partners to delight consumers with irresistible products.Reporting to a Regional Sales Director, you will have opportunity to grow specific accounts in our sweet goods and snacks category with additional account focus a possibility depending on your experience and industry knowledge. While this is considered a homebased office (remote) with high travel potential, our preference is for someone to already reside in or near Chicago. Account management and business development experience needed.• Account Management: Lead and influence strategic account planning. Develop comprehensive action plans for main accounts. Develop thoughtful understanding of customer potential through analysis of brand strategies, positioning, strengths and weaknesses, and competition data. Manage brief pipeline (quality and quantity of projects) to achieve growth plans. Provide leadership through all phases of our customers’ experience with us.• Negotiate and Collaborate: Manage large commercial projects in collaboration with Flavor Creation and Application. Ensure visibility and exposure for us at customers by maintaining and guiding appropriate call frequency with essential product demonstrations and technical to technical interface. Follow up on customer submissions and manage wins through to production and launch. Negotiate pricing agreements following company guidelines.• Business Development: Grow our business with designated accounts by managing top and bottom lines and by generating a broad base of new business opportunities.
