Email Marketing Specialist

Essential Functions:

  • Manages day-to-day email marketing campaign execution; includes planning, targeting, set-up, testing, execution, reporting, and optimization
  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to create and deliver highly-targeted/segmented marketing campaigns, lifecycle emails, retention/reactivation programs, and loyalty building communications.
  • Executes various email campaigns; includes template designs, calls-to-action, and content utilization.
  • Ensures marketing message is conveyed clearly and delivered properly to current customers and prospective client
  • Executes email marketing ads based on the content calendar created by email marketing manager
  • Analyzes subject line to ensure adherence to email marketing guidelines and best practices
  • Analyzes offerings, coupons, graphics, content per ad and provide recommendations to email marketing manager for A/B testing to improve on marketing campaigns
  • Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM guidelines; assists with administration of email list recipients.
  • Monitors launched campaigns for inactive users, and bounces to ensure list hygiene
  • Optimizes emails for deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.
  • Designs and creates Press Releases as requested by management
  • Assists in creating customer surveys based as requested by management and other stakeholders
  • Assists with email production and creation process; ensuring flawless execution.
  • Serves as quality control (QC) for different versions of the email campaign; duties include rendering testing.
  • Compiles marketing results; reports results and provide insights and recommendations.
  • Creates documentation for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.
  • Ensures email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices.
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling
  • Builds and formats landing pages using HTML5, Bootstrap, and WordPress.
  • Assists web designers in creating promotional landing pages for the email marketing campaigns
  • Assists web designers by creating blog pages prior to launching of the blog newsletter
  • Supports email marketing manager with drip campaigns and creating web, email treatments purposed in our customer intelligence automation platform
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.
 
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications, or related field, preferred 
  • Minimum three (3) years related experience in Marketing, Information Technology, Communications.  
  • Experience with HTML/CSS to create email templates from scratch 
  • Experience using major email hosting platforms required (Campaign Monitor, Constant Contact, MailChimp etc).
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, preferred.
  • Experience working in a large marketing organization or agency, preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare industry, preferred
 
Pay Range$23.00 to $26.00/hr
