VP, Actuarial Financial Reporting

Global Atlantic Financial Group is seeking a VP of Actuarial Financial Reporting to support valuation and reporting for its Pension Risk Transfer and Flow Reinsurance lines. The role focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

Calculate US Statutory, Tax, US GAAP reserves and other related actuarial balances
Provide analysis to support drivers of impacts to earnings
Support onboarding of new reinsurance deals
Conduct annual impact testing for potential assumption changes
Work with the Modeling team on necessary updates
Collaborate with IT and data teams on valuation system transformation
Maintain and improve various controls including SOX
Support audit and regulatory requests

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuary, Statistics, or STEM-related major
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)
