Global Employer Brand Marketing Lead

The Employer Brand Marketing Lead, Marsh McLennan, is responsible for the development and execution of Talent Acquisition’s brand strategy. This role will manage large-scale projects, work collaboratively across Marsh McLennan functions and businesses, coach team members and solve complex problems. The Global Employer Brand Marketing Lead will report into the Head of Brand, Marsh McLennan, and can be based in New York or Chicago.

We will count on you to:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to set and activate the employer brand strategy to target both internal and external candidate pools
  • Oversee prospective candidate channel strategy globally (including external careers website), execute on global tactics and provide recommendations for local activation
  • Lead development of marketing collateral to support global recruiting efforts across businesses and high-priority targeted campaigns for Marsh McLennan functions
  • Develop campaigns to build advocacy amongst current and prospective colleagues
  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of TA marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to drive better outcomes in partnership between Talent Acquisition and Marketing and Communications
  • Monitor budget by performing comparative cost analyses to present return on investment to Brand Management and Talent Acquisition leadership

What you need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, English, Public Relations
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in brand strategy, including social media and content marketing experience (talent acquisition experience preferable).

  • Experience working in a large, complex, and matrixed environment, working with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering impactful campaigns in rapidly changing highly regulated, technologically dynamic environments.
  • History of coaching and leading Senior internal clients to improve the impact and effectiveness of their marketing and communication.
  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills on both technical and non-technical matters.
  • Proven ability to serve as a trusted and influential advisor and counselor to Senior executives, and to cultivate meaningful relationships with senior leaders and individuals of influence.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing and communications technologies, including marketing automation software, social media, intranets and content management systems.
  • Ability to understand, tailor and communicate complex business, legal and technical issues for various audiences.
  • Proven ability to build a team without reporting lines through coaching, credibility, leadership.
  • Understanding of marketing automation, data and analytics and customer journey-mapping.
  • Strong knowledge and utilization of digital products such as Salesforce suite of products (Marketing Cloud), AEM and social media channels.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,800 to $185,600.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
