Job Description:
The Creative Strategy team is responsible for the ideation and creation of custom marketing proposals across all Condé Nast brands and sales categories, collaborating with the sales, brand, digital operations, insights/research, creative, experiential, and video teams. Together we develop winning strategies to amplify and intergrate advertisers into our award winning IP through branded content, custom video, native articles, events, social/digital first content, white label and more.
Condé Nast Commercial Creative is seeking a Global Executive DIrector of Creative Strategy for Auto. This role will report directly into our Global VP, Creativity Strategy & Production/Activation and will manage a team dedicated to driving commercial revenue for the Auto category.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee marketing strategy for Auto, educating global sales and marketing teams on full suite of products, initiatives and partnerships
  • Manage and mentor team of creative strategists focused on Auto category
  • Craft compelling and effective integrated marketing proposals tailored to our Auto category advertisers that champion Condé Nast’s right to win in digital, print, social media, video, branded content, data, experiences and beyond
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing solutions that integrate advertisers KPIs into Condé Nast’s rich ecosystem of award winning IP, content, and experiences
  • Identify areas of opportunity where Auto category can grow in client base, relevance, and revenue including content & creative partnerships
  • Partner with Sales in response to RFPs and proactive opportunities, while cultivating positive business relationships with internal teams across all levels including: Brand Marketing, Client Services, Digital Operations, Creative, Research + Insights, and more
  • Translate Auto marketplace needs into accessible solutions through our portfolio of brands, tentpole moments, and products
  • Help to develop team members through the sharing of ideas and category experience, as well as guidance on proposals and ideation process
  • Attend client calls to articulate, consult, and sell-through marketing partnerships while building lasting relationships with clients
Job Requirements:
  • 11+ years qualifying experience in marketing, digital media, strategic partnerships, or advertising
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Auto category, either on the agency or client side of the business
  • Storyteller with experience translating insights, product information and data into client-facing marketing presentations with strong creative writing and presentation building skills
  • Thorough understanding of media and marketing metrics/KPIs, ad technology and platforms
  • Ability to successfully drive projects with limited guidance amidst multiple shifting priorities
  • Be proactive, nimble and open to learning
  • Experience in working across a matrix organization and adjacent teams
  • Encourage collaboration and ensure insightful problem solving
  • Comprehend complex business operations and drive efficiencies through process improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team cooperation
  • Able to successfully interface with senior-level internal stakeholders and external executives
  • Global experience a plus
Base Salary: $130,000 - $185,000
