Job Description

We are looking for a Global Field Corrective Action (FCA) Data Analyst to join our team and help us monitor FCA KPIs and other operational metrics. The ideal candidate will have experience with data analysis, data visualization, databases, and reporting. You will be responsible for maintaining weekly dashboards, integrating data from other subsystems, and designing dashboards to give a robust up-to-date view into the status of top KPIs, critical trends, and FCA summary reports. You will also be responsible for evaluating and improving current tools and FCA database used to collect, analyze, and report Field Corrective Action data.


In addition, the FCA Data Analyst is responsible for the creation of global product distribution report templates using ERP system data from the different regions. This position requires familiarity with systems and a solid ability to analyze and manipulate product inventory data and to communicate effectively at all levels. Individuals in this role must be highly adaptable to change and shifting priorities and also require minimal supervision.

Job Duties

  • Design, develop, validate, and implement a database and data collection systems to collect FCA information used to generate weekly, monthly, quarterly internal reports.
  • Maintain weekly dashboards to monitor FCA KPIs and other operational metrics.
  • Integrate other data sources such as CAPA, NCRs, with minimal manual effort to complement FCA information.
  • Create product distribution reports templates identifying inventory locations of products in distribution.
  • Automate FCA workflow repetitive processes by using workflow management tools.
  • Perform database validation activities.
  • Evaluating off-the-shelf applications for FCA database and workflow management.
  • Generate reports used for audits and inspections.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree or an Associate’s Degree (with additional work experience) in an Engineering or Scientific Technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, database management, data visualization, and reporting.
  • Some travel may be required. Occasional late night or early morning meetings with international team business partners.


Preferred:

  • Experience in Medical Device Quality Compliance in the medical device industry preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with Business Objects, and SAP is preferred but not required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent reporting and data visualization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
