Tax Intern

GOAT Group is looking for a Tax intern to support its Tax Team on day-to-day business operations and tax initiatives. This role offers exposure to various taxation aspects, financial assurance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Skills

Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Ability to learn and apply new information effectively
Highly organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams in Accounting, Legal, Finance, and other departments on tax implications
Support Tax Team with tax calculations and workpapers for various tax returns
Research tax technical matters and document tax positions
Assist with financial assurance and tax controls
Conduct due diligence on tax exposure for business initiatives

Education

At least 1 business course in Accounting or Tax
