Principal Site Reliability Engineer
GoCardless, an award-winning fintech, is on a mission to transform bank payments and is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to lead efforts in ensuring platform performance and reliability.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in Kubernetes.
- Cloud services experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
- Architecture design skills.
- Security systems design knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic platform initiatives for scalability and performance.
- Design and implement the Observability stack.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance availability measures.
- Implement strategies for improving system uptime.
- Recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Lead architectural improvements.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in SRE on-call rotation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
