665 - Design Producer/Project Manager

We need an English-fluent Design Producer/Project Manager, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who's constantly learning and improving their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the design team's Jira board, ensuring clear task allocation, prioritization, and progress tracking.
• Interface regularly with iOS, Android, and desktop product teams to coordinate design needs, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring design deliverables align with overall product roadmaps.
• Facilitate communication between the design team and other departments, acting as a buffer to minimize interruptions to design work.
• Organize and lead design team meetings, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor design team workload and capacity, balancing resources across various projects and initiatives.
• Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or conflicts in the design process.
• Collaborate with design leads to establish and maintain design project management best practices.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting design team achievements and challenges.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation for design projects across different product lines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in project management or producer roles, preferably within design teams or creative agencies.
• Strong proficiency with Jira and other project management tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and creative teams.
• Familiarity with design processes and workflows.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
• Ability to understand and communicate design concepts and requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Design, Business Administration, or related field.

It's a plus:

• Experience working specifically with UX/UI design teams.
• Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Familiarity with software development processes for iOS, Android, and desktop applications.
• Scrum Master or other project management certifications.
• Experience with resource management and capacity planning tools.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles.
