Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Classy, a Public Benefit Corporation and giving platform, is looking for a Senior Manager in Software Engineering to drive core business initiatives, evolve E-commerce platform, and manage software lifecycle.

Skills

10+ years of software development
Experience with web-based technologies and e-commerce
Proficiency in Javascript Frameworks, GraphQL, and AWS
Strong understanding of distributed software architecture
Proficiency in Scrum/Agile methodologies and microservices
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases

Responsibilities

Partner with senior management on core business initiatives
Drive the evolution of the E-commerce platform
Manage the lifecycle of the fundraising platform
Evaluate technical solutions for company growth
Manage and coach engineers
Analyze, design, and develop software with clean code

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
