But we also have two smaller properties with tremendous headroom as businesses in their own right: Gmail and the Discover feed (aka Google Feed). As the Director of Product Management you will lead the Discover and Gmail Ads businesses. You will own the product road map for delivering the best possible ads experience for users, and the greatest possible value for advertisers. Both surfaces are in growth mode, and you will be responsible for the entire user-side experience, from auction and quality to inventory and formats. You will lead a team of 7+ product managers and will ultimately be responsible to grow the combined business.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Responsibilities• Serve as a product leader, building, managing and executing a product vision, strategy, and road map to support two products primed for significant growth.• Work closely with the Gmail and Discover consumer teams to drive a joint organic product strategy that adds value to users, not just advertisers.• Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with business stakeholders to our Legal and Policy teams.• Partner closely with cross-functional teams across Google Ads to advocate for and execute your vision.• Manage a team of Product Management professionals in partnership with an engineering and user experience organization.
