Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.• 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.• 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.• Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.Preferred qualifications:• Experience working with the following: Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Native ecosystems.• Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.• Experience developing or launching products or technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, developer tools.• Experience building or shipping technical products.• Knowledge of multiple areas such as product management, engineering, UX/UI, sales, customer support, finance or marketing.About the jobAt Google, we put our users first. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google .Responsibilities• Work with multiple groups to help shape critical capabilities for Google Kubernetes Engine(GKE) and Google Cloud Platform(GCP). Grow GKE's customers and business by planning and driving product strategy and outlook for Google teams.• Identify business opportunities through understanding of customers issues, pattern requests and Google field feedback.• Develop product outlook, roadmap and requirements (e.g., Market Requirements Document(MRD) or (PRD)product requirements documents) for differentiated products and solutions by working with customers, sales, and engineering.• Be a trusted partner with engineering and leadership, focusing the team on delivering high quality products.• Be a source of knowledge of Kubernetes, Containers, and Cloud Native ecosystem.
