Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Sunnyvale, CA, USA; Kirkland, WA, USA; Seattle, WA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA.Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• 6 years of visual design experience in product design or UX/UI design.• Experience implementing visual design systems across platforms in an iterative software development environment, applying design tools (e.g. Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: illustration, animation, motion graphics, creative direction, prototyping.• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).Preferred qualifications:• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.• 8 years of experience in product design or UX.• 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.• Experience in rapid prototyping.• Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and design rationale within a user-centered design process.• Skills in communicating and influencing product design strategyAbout The JobAt Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
