As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You will play a critical role in planning, driving execution, and orchestrating multiple work streams/dependencies to drive engineering velocity and transparency.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.Responsibilities• Develop and manage the overall program plan for Large Language Model (LLM) pre-training infrastructure, including requirements gathering, risk assessment, and resource allocation.• Work closely with researchers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize infrastructure features and capabilities across various work streams (e.g., scheduling, networking, runtime, capacity, deployment).• Track and manage the progress of development and deployment, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to keep them informed of the programs progress and to obtain their buy-in on key decisions.• Work with various Engineering teams to track production issues and deliver fixes.
