This individual will create and enhance the systems that support our order management platform and improve our product and delivery capabilities.We’re looking for a Backend Software Engineer who is passionate about delivering highly critical technical projects end-to-end. The ideal candidate will be motivated and extremely knowledgeable about systems engineering and shipping software with high quality. This is a fully remote role - location is not important, but being able to work within the Americas time zones is required.How you'll power eCommerce:• Develop applications using .NET and C# technologies within an event-driven architecture.• Utilize MongoDB for data management, and Redis for caching to enhance application performance.• Implement and manage microservices using Kubernetes.• Employ Kafka and Temporal to handle data and workflows effectively.• Debug, test, and optimize code• Document and test new software applications• Research, investigate, and resolve a wide range of technical issues• Proactively learn about new technologies and industry trends• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goalsYou should have:• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or a related field• Demonstrated experience in working with .NET, C#, SQL and NoSQL• Strong communication and presentation skills• Self-motivated, results-oriented mindset• Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teamsThe really important stuff:• Be part of the village: We nurture a culture of open communication.
