As a Physician Assistant in our hospital, your main responsibilities will include assessing and diagnosing patients with acute illnesses, conducting physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, administering treatments like suturing and wound care, and prescribing medications. You'll also collaborate with physicians and nurses to provide the best possible patient care.

To apply for the Physician Assistant position at our hospital, you must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program, possess current NCCPA certification, and be licensed or license-eligible in Illinois. While hospital or acute care experience is preferred, it's not required. Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential.

As a Physician Assistant, you can expect a full-time work schedule, typically Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. We're also flexible and open to part-time schedules, allowing for a good work-life balance while you make a difference in patient care.

The Physician Assistant position offers a competitive salary range from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, along with RVU-based incentives.
