Job Description

Role Title: Senior CRM Manager 

Location: London 

Employment Type: Full Time, 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (with potential to go permanent) 

Start Date: We are looking for candidates that are immediately available

Here at Gousto we have an exciting oppurtunity for a Senior CRM Manager. Reporting into the Head of Growth you will lead our CRM, engagement and innovation function, be responsible for optimising our Martech stack and capabilities through new channel and data capabilities, identifying new tools to enhance our communication strategies, our CRM metrics (OR, CTR, App Visits) and be a key stakeholder in working with a tech squad to improve our digital and comms experience.

The growth team at Gousto is responsible for driving frequency and retention across the entire customer lifecycle. We use a combination of multi-channel CRM comms, digital product, discount optimisations and engagement initiatives to create step-changes in value.

You’ll have an amazing Growth Manager reporting to you, who will support you with our CRM operation improvements, data optimisations and comms and engagement strategy, as well as help a/b test new initiatives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive CRM strategy across our CRM platform (Braze)
  • Partner with the Head of growth to create a best in class CRM function
  • Identify and implement emerging tools and technologies to enhance customer engagement, drive personalisation, and elevate our overall strategy
  • Evaluate and integrate new CRM solutions, unlock new channels, data points, and continuously improve our communication channels and capabilities
  • Project manage and execute critical legal updates across all Gousto communications, collaborating closely with legal to achieve optimal outcomes for both Gousto and our customers
  • Optimise and improve core engagement communications across various customer journeys including Abandon Cart, Abandon Session, New Menu releases etc
  • Develop and manage both online and offline communication strategies, ensuring seamless orchestration of CRM journeys across all channels

WHO YOU ARE

  • Experienced in fields such as Retention and CRM, working collaboratively with Digital Product, Growth Marketing, Product Marketing and Analytics
  • An expert in various ESPs (preferably Braze) with deep experience in campaign creation, data management, segmentation, and email automation
  • A strong team leader, including formal management and career developing
  • Demonstrated success in launching commercially effective, customer insight-driven campaigns
  • Numerically skills strong and confidence in data analysis
  • Proficient in A/B testing best practices, including running multiple experiments supported by thorough pre-test planning, execution, and post-test analysis to provide clear insights and actionable recommendations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects that drive significant business impact
  • Highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly respond to evolving business needs
  • Collaborative team player with a deep passion for customer-centric strategies
