With a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and client satisfaction, they pride themselves on our ability to turn visions into reality.Job Description: As a Civil Engineer specializing in Land Development, you will play a key role in project teams, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of various land development projects. This position offers an opportunity for growth and advancement.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with project managers, architects, planners, and other stakeholders to develop creative and effective land development solutions.• Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports for site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments to evaluate project constraints and opportunities.• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations to design stormwater management systems, including detention basins, retention ponds, and conveyance systems.• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for project development.• Conduct construction site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.• Assist in the preparation of construction cost estimates, project schedules, and contract documents.• Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff and provide technical guidance and support as needed.• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to land development engineering.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and the ability to obtain PE certification within six months of hire.• Strong technical skills in land development design, including proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development projects.• Demonstrated experience leading project teams, managing budgets, and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.Benefits: My client offers competitive compensation packages, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment that fosters growth and career advancement.Join their team and make a difference in shaping the communities we serve.
