If you are a dedicated, client-focused professional with a strong background in commercial insurance, I want to speak with you!Position Overview:As a Commercial Insurance Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the team, ensuring the accuracy of policy updates, facilitating effective communication between stakeholders, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio. This will be a hybrid position.Key Responsibilities:• Policy Management: Accurately input policy updates and account information.• Client Communication: Engage with clients, producers, and carrier underwriters to address policy and coverage-related inquiries.• Marketing & Quoting: Lead the marketing and quoting process for new business and account renewals.• Renewal Management: Identify, compile, and oversee information regarding account renewals.• Effective Communication: Maintain consistent and timely communication with agency clients and carrier representatives.• Business Development: Contribute to new business acquisition.Qualifications:• Licensing: Hold a valid Property & Casualty Insurance license.• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an independent agency or retail brokerage.• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage and rating.• Carrier Interaction: Proven experience working with various carriers and engaging directly with their underwriters.• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with online rating software and various insurance carrier online systems.• Software Skills: Proficiency in using insurance software, including Applied TAM, EPIC, or AMS360.• Microsoft Office: Competence in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).• Existing Book of Business: Possession of an existing book of business is a significant advantage.Benefits:In addition to a competitive compensation package that matches your experience, they offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement options, and opportunities for professional development.
