Controls/Building Automation Service Full-timeJob descriptionOur Controls/Building Automation Service Technician will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, replacement, and technical support for Commercial Controls Building Automation Systems. Understand control system design, sequence of operations, and controls schematic drawings. Properly complete all required projects and service documentation accurately and on time.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of building automation & controls experienceExperience with programming and controls database managementFundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operationHands on experience with one or more controls platforms (Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet, etc.)General controls, installations, troubleshooting and repair experienceMust have ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheetsMust have ability to use testing and metering devicesFamiliar with Windows operating systems and softwareProfessional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capabilityDemonstrates strong business ethics at all timesResponsibilitiesOur Controls/Building Automation Service Technician will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, replacement, and technical support for Commercial Controls Building Automation SystemsUnderstand control system design, sequence of operations, and controls schematic drawingsProperly complete all required project and service documentation accurately and on timeDiagnoses system performance through observation, testing and setup as required by trade/positionPerforms planned maintenance and inspections as indicated in the service agreementProficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipmentCompletes service contracts, quoted service projects and demand service calls as directedDevelops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfactionParticipates in technician on-call-stand-by rotation as dictated by business unit policies and proceduresCompletes documentation of invoicing data based on hours worked and materials/equipment used to complete the serviceSafely drives a motor vehicle and trailer, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirementsPurchases materials and issues purchase order numbers to suppliersMaintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicleApply directly at Suzanne.Salerno@gogpac.comWe have many opportunties accross the US.
