Inside Sales Representative – Lumber & Building MaterialsWe are looking for an outgoing and energetic Inside Sales Representative in the Lumber and Building Materials industry to join our growing team! As the Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. You will utilize your building materials knowledge, particularly in lumber, concrete, roofing, metal and wood framing, and siding to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our client's products to customers. The Inside Sales Representative will reach business targets through effective management of designated territories and cold calling.Job Type: Full Time, On-siteResponsibilities for the Inside Sales Representative:• Ensure delivery of target sales by meeting with customers and maintaining relationships• Recommend service and product enhancements to improve sales potential• Analyze plans and trends to ensure best assignment of territories, clients, and service distribution.• Maintain technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in industry networks, and growing lasting client relationships• Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes and forecasting.• Remain relevant with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand shifts, and product mix.• Positively contribute to full sales and customer service teams• Develop and collaborate on long- and short-term sales strategiesRequirements of the Inside Sales Representative:• Minimum 3-5 years of Sales experience in Building Materials or Construction• Strong knowledge of lumber, building materials, concrete, roofing, and/or precast• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers• Highly motivated and results-oriented• Strong negotiation and closing skillsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
