Litigation ParalegalPosition Type: Regular Full-TimeLocations: Irvine, CA, US | Los Angeles, CA, US | San Francisco, CA, US | Walnut Creek, CA, USSalary Range: $65,000.00 to $95,000.00 AnnuallyJob Overview:A dynamic litigation law firm is currently seeking two experienced litigation paralegals to join its asbestos practice group in any of its California office locations: Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek.This nationally recognized litigation and trial firm focuses on complex civil matters, including products liability cases, toxic tort matters, commercial litigation, general liability, and transportation law. The firm takes a team approach, integrating efforts with clients to advance and protect their interests across multiple jurisdictions. The firm's culture emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and actively promotes these values.Key Responsibilities:• Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.• Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.• Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.• Review and evaluate discovery documents, including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case materials.• Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.• Accurately account for and submit personal billable time.Candidate Requirements:• A minimum of 2 years of experience in asbestos litigation.• Strong organizational skills.• Proficient interpersonal skills, including effective communication with both attorneys and other paralegals.• Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.• Effective problem-solving capabilities.• Preference for candidates with mid-level experience using legal systems such as Westlaw, File & Serve Xpress, PACER.Why Apply?This firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) plans.
