Patent Litigation Associate

My client is a nationally recognized litigation and appellate law firm with an outstanding reputation throughout the area. They’re looking to add a full-time patent litigation associate to their team. This position will offer extensive hands-on experience and the opportunity for domestic travel.Preferred Background:• Academic credentials in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and/or Computer Engineering.• 1 to 3 years of experience in patent litigation. (Recent law school graduates with prior patent experience will also be considered)• Previous experience and understanding of all aspects of patent litigation (including but not limited to)• Due diligence, patent portfolio assessment, claim charting, technical analysis, discovery, depositions, brief drafting, and trial work.• Strong technical skills along with excellent communication and writing skills.Additional:• Not required to be admitted to the US PTO.• Position will start on site and then can move to more of a hybrid position.• Full Benefits package included.For more information apply directly or contact Alan.McMillen@gogpac.com.
