Senior Estimator - Commercial ConstructionWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record in managing complex commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects in Denver.Key Responsibilities:• Analyze project plans, specifications, and relevant documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and potential challenges that may impact project costs.• Research and identify material and labor costs, utilizing industry databases, supplier quotes, and historical data.• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.• Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive and accurate bids.• Review and validate project budgets, providing ongoing support and guidance to project teams during execution.• Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting construction costs.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, etc.).• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, regulations, and building practices.• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.If you are interested in this position apply online or submit your resume and project list to Sydney Holland at sydney.holland@gogpac.comAll inquiries are strictly confidential.
