Granicus' Swagit Productions team is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist for our remote Costa Rica team. 

The Quality Assurance Specialist's primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of video content before it is delivered to a customer. 

Please Note that you must be fully bilingual (English and Spanish) to be considered for this role, and all resume submissions must be in English. Additionally, you must reside in Costa Rica to be considered for this position. Candidates living in other countries cannot be considered at this time.

• Review video content of public sector customers, identifying errors, inconsistencies, technical issues, and audio and visual defects.  
• Ensure the video meets the Granicus required standards, customer specifications, and any other documented compliance.  
• Document issues in detailed records. Reporting on trends and patterns to direct leadership. 
• Manage queue and backlog. Ensure timely resolution, rapid prioritization and maintain an organized backlog.  
• Work under tight deadlines to meet customer compliance laws while maintaining attention to detail, ensuring timely delivery of video content.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve upon the process with the video production team.  
• Address feedback and make necessary revisions based on customer or internal requests.  

• Strong command of the English language with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.  * Bilingual employees will need this skillset in Spanish. 
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-moving environment. 
• Strong time management skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks in line with business requirements and deadlines while working remotely. 
• Knowledge of FTP clients. 
• Knowledge of non-linear/linear video editing systems.  
• Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office Suite.  
• Clear understanding of video formatting. 
• Strong at attention to detail. 
• Experience working in a remote environment and the ability to maintain effective communication with team members across various time zones.  
• Access a quiet and professional environment for focused transcription work, free of background noise and distractions.  
• Comfortable using digital communication tools to collaborate with teams and customers. 
• Familiar with remote work tools like cloud storage and virtual meeting software.   
• Any other duties as required to perform the job.
