Cyber Privacy and Data Protection Senior Associate

Grant Thornton is seeking an experienced and passionate Cyber Privacy and Data Protection Senior Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber policy, regulations, and best practices. Additionally, they will be an... experienced problem solver who can work independently and quickly adapt to changing client and team needs.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information security, or related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in a related field. Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies related to cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection. Ensure that all data protection and privacy policies and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Provide guidance and advice to clients regarding data protection and privacy matters. Monitor and analyze changes in the legal and regulatory landscape related to cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection. Liaise with external stakeholders, such as third-party vendors, to ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations. Prepare and deliver reports to clients on data protection and privacy matters. Train and educate internal staff on cybersecurity, privacy, and data protection best practices. Identify and mitigate potential risks related to data protection and privacy. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
