A Little More About The role:

We’re looking for a Stop Loss Contract Specialist who will be responsible for putting stop loss certificates in place.  This is a critical step in our stop loss function and this position requires the ability to interpret contracts, have great attention to detail, and the ability work collaboratively.

 

You will:

·       Create the Stop Loss Certificates for distribution.

·       Timely enter Stop Loss contracts into Javelina for accurately systematically identifying high claimants based on stop loss provisions to include, but not limited to, the following criteria:

o    Effective date of the stop loss contract.

o    Incurred and Paid parameters

o    Incurred and Paid dates.

o    Spec Deducible threshold.

o    Verify the correct contract Group ID is assigned to the correct Client in Client Maintenance.

o    Mark file as completed on the New/renewing employer set up tracker.

·       Provide problem solving for any potential issues that arise.

·       Heavily involved in any documentation improvement and participation in automation build outs that will strengthen the responsibilities of this division and increase efficiencies.

·       Work closely with the Stop Loss Director, providing updates on inventory for both areas of responsibilities.

·       Point of contact for AM/Implementation for amendments and keeping contracts updated within Javelina that reflect amendments timely.

·       Other duties as assigned

 

You bring:

·       Attention to detail is a must.

·       Ability to understand contract parameters and terms within Stop Loss language and terminology.

·       Reporting knowledge of Google sheets and/or Excel.

·       Ability to innovate on live processes and procedures.

·       Willingness to learn, be actively involved and hold yourself accountable.

·       Excellent collaboration skills.

 

Extra credit:

·       Experience with Javelina
