Responsibilities
• Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
• Write and record journal entries and auditing documents...
• Manage and analyze employee income and expenditure accounts
• Generate and present financial reports by analyzing accounting data
• Summarize financial statuses based on profit and loss, forecasts, and other information
• Assist in monthly closing period reporting and presentations
• Recommend financial actions and maintain accounting controls
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
• Maintain confidentiality and excellent customer service
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3+ years’ experience in accounting services at a public accounting firm/accounting services firm OR 5+ years experience in industry/corporate accounting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
• Ability to maintain confidentiality working with financial data
