Located in the heart of Wollongong, Greencross Vets Crown Street offers easy access to beautiful beaches, ocean-view cafés, and scenic walking tracks overlooking the Illawarra. The clinic is conveniently located close to public transport and Sydney is less than an hours drive away.

You will join our team of 7 skilled nurses and 2.5 veterinarians, committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care. We proudly hold Stress Free Accreditation, and our team are very experienced in dealing with highly anxious patients and assisting clients to manage these concerns with their much-loved pets.

Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. As the saying goes, team work makes the dream work, and our team is one of the best!

As part of the Greencross network you will be encouraged to advance your knowledge through paid study leave and our extensive uncapped Continuing Education suite. Our nurses also take advantage of training and CE, affording our patients a team-based approach to care. 

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and biochemistry, electrolyte & hematology machines, we ensure precise diagnostics and treatment for our patients. With 2 consult rooms, a cat ward, dog ward, cattery, sterile theatre, prep area, and internal lab, you will find our clinic is fully equipped to cater to the needs of our diverse clientele.

NO AFTER HOURS are ever required, as we’re close to ARH Wollongong, providing easy access to 24-hour emergency care and CT referral services.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations.
