Clinician (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT) - Bronx, NY (#3015)

Minimum of 5 years experience providing direct clinical services, preferably in a mental health setting addressing co-occurring disorders

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Clinician to fill an opening with a Residential Facility (FQHC) located in Bronx, New York

Schedule of the Clinician:

  • This is a Full-time position

Responsibilities of the Clinician:

  • 100% amount of time will be spent delivering clinical services.
  • Provide DSM diagnostic assessment and treatment plan and make appropriate recommendations and referrals and document in accordance with regulatory agencies and policy and procedures.
  • Implement interventions utilizing Evidence Based Practices
  • Participate in (IDT) interdisciplinary treatment team meetings focused on client mental health care.
  • Facilitate groups using Evidence Based Practices to assist and empower clients in improving their ability to manage their mental health needs and achieve recovery.
  • Consultation/supervision with attending psychiatrist and mental health specialist on best course of treatment recommendations and dispositions.

  • Must have an active NY State License (as either of the list LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT)
  • Must have 5 years of providing direct clinical services, preferably in a mental health setting addressing co-occurring disorders.
  • Must have experience in Substance Abuse, Mental Health, HIV High Risk, and Adolescents.
  • Must be eligible for clearance through the NYS Central Registry for Child Abuse and NYS Justice Center
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual, ability to speak Spanish is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of chemical dependency
  • Must be very organized with excellent time management skills required to ensure a seamless flow of clients in the clinic, and timely submission of documentation and billing-related documents.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with staff and colleagues throughout VIP and the ability to work as part of a team; and verbally express ideas and concepts clearly to others.
  • Must have excellent written communication skills and ability to maintain charts as per policy and procedures.
  • The salary for this position is $58,000 - $70,000 / yr
  • 11 paid holidays
  • 25 PTOs ( up to 10 accrued unused PTO days can be carried over to the next calendar days)
