What’s so interesting about this role?
Yes, you read correctly: the most exciting job of your life is beckoning; we are seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Communications to join Grindr to establish, develop, and execute our communication strategies to advance Grindr's brand affinity and reputation globally. You will build out the function pretty much from the ground up, and drive all of Grindr comms, positioning the company as the Global Gayborhood in your pocket, and leveraging our heritage and authority as the global connector for the LGBTQ+ community.
Our marketing strategy is simple: we lead with comms and content. This isn’t your typical comms role, but one where your work will be central to all our marketing efforts. You will create influential corp and consumer campaigns that span social media, product, and brand, working with highly talented XFN partners to further establish the Grindr story in the global market. You will also be a key point of contact for media relations and internal and external comms, and will steer our C-suite in their positioning as well. Finally, you will run point on all crisis comms. Things change quickly here, and this leadership role will require someone who can communicate swiftly and effectively across all levels of the organization and externally, all while building a best in class comms team. Grindr is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will also be eligible for equity, benefits, and a company bonus program.

$250,000—$295,000 USD
New York Base Pay Range
