Summary: We are looking for our next innovative Social Content Creator to join our Production Team. You will be at the forefront of creating content that resonates with our social audiences and keeps them engaged. We strive for excellence while pushing the boundaries of creativity to produce socially-led, engaging videos that set us apart in the beauty industry.
You should be used to working in a fast-paced environment, and motivated to work as part of an in-house Production team to create content that will be used across traditional and digital platforms. You should be experienced managing a project from concept, through to final delivery.
You’ll inspire a close-knit team, managing requests from global marketing team and a network of freelancers and supporting agencies. You’ll need to be a good communicator, comfortable communicating/negotiating with multiple suppliers and good at juggling multiple projects and tight deadlines, whilst also being able to say 'no' constructively and positively.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create Cutting-Edge Content: Plan, shoot and edit high-quality, trendsetting video and photo content for our social media, website, and product pages that will captivate our audience.
- Collaborate Creatively: Work side-by-side with our awesome creative, social and production teams on shoots and in brainstorming sessions and pre-production meetings, contributing your unique and daring ideas to shape our project goals, storyboards, and scripts.
- Own the Shoot: Lead on-location and studio shoots, from setting up cutting-edge beauty focused lighting, audio, and camera gear to directing talent with flair and vision.
- Editing Skills: Transform raw footage and images into polished, visually stunning content using graphics, special effects, music, and sound design to enhance quality and keep our style fresh and cool.
- Mastery: Keep our state-of-the-art camera and lighting equipment organized and in perfect working condition, ready for use at any time.
- Stay Ahead: Be on the lookout for the latest industry / social trends and video technologies, always finding ways to keep our content at the cutting edge of creativity.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content stays true to our brand’s developing tone of voice and visual style, consistently hitting our high standards.
- Juggle Projects: Manage multiple projects with stellar organizational skills, meeting deadlines and delivering top-notch quality every time.
- Incorporate Feedback: Take feedback from internal stakeholders and make necessary revisions, all while keeping our content fresh and creative.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of professional experience in social content creation, ideally in a socially-led, creative agency or as a vibrant freelancer.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with video production equipment and a range of different cameras. Shooting well-lit clean and crisp 4K footage should be like second nature for you along with lighting and audio equipment setups. Knowledge of advanced software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop is a plus.
- Creative Visionary: Exceptional creative vision with a keen eye for detail and composition, ensuring our content is visually compelling.
- Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, making collaboration with diverse teams and talent a breeze.
- Organized Multi-Tasker: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, effortlessly handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptable: Thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, adapting to new challenges with a proactive and innovative mindset.
- Problem Solver: Strong problem-solving skills, tackling challenges during production and post-production with ease.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
