It might seem like a dream, but we guarantee the savings couldn’t be more real.About The ProgramThis summer you could have the opportunity to join the exceptional Grocery Outlet Corporate team. Our Emeryville, Ca based program gives students real-world work experience while learning about our amazingly unique business model. In addition to your project you will be exposed to all areas of our business. Along with your day-to-day project work you will get to lunch & learn with our executives and explore what a career at Grocery Outlet is really all about. Just in case you were wondering, we hired almost 50% of our interns from last year!Each intern will have the opportunity to work on a project that will help us solve an actual problem within our organization. No hypothetical projects here! This is a 10-week paid internship that will run from Tuesday June 17th – Friday August 22nd.About The ProjectYou will identify discrepancies between point-of-sale system, intermediary system (SAP CAR), and general ledger system (SAP S/4 Hana). Discrepancies will be investigated with proposed conclusions about incongruencies. You will connect with business technology partners and support as part of their investigate process.The end result will be a report of issues identified. This will include data analytics around the impact of the issues, resources and steps required to fix the issues, hurdles in process, and where possible, root cause analysis as to source of issues.Responsibilities Include• Independent project management• Regular check-ins with project leader for support and feedback• Actively using ERP system for research• Providing meaningful data analysis• Relationship building within the team and cross-functionally across other areas• Learning as much as you can• Having fun!About The Pay• Base Salary: $21.00 HourlyAbout You• New Graduate, Rising Senior or Master’s Student enrolled in an accredited program as of June 2025• Ideally in Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or similar area• Already understand how to use Microsoft Excel or able to learn quickly• Self-starter with can-do attitude• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Creative & independent thinker• Great at presenting strong, fact-based points of view• Detailed & deadline driven• Enjoy a challenge• Thrive in a fast-pace environment• Able to work from the Emeryville office Mondays, Tuesdays and ThursdaysTo learn about how we collect, use and secure your personal information.
