Group Product Manager, Transportation as a Service

Waymo’s Product Management Team is a mission-driven team responsible for writing and enacting first-of-their-kind playbooks to bring fully autonomous driving technology to market. Our team develops simple solutions for complex problems by orchestrating cross-functional efforts to safely drive Waymo’s technology and the products it enables forward. We do this by understanding the customer, the business, and the technology. We are humble about the scope of our work, collaborative in our approach to problem-solving, and ambitious about our vision for the future.
In this role you'll:
- Build products and experiences that enable Waymo to rapidly grow and commercialize our product
- Work across multiple product managers, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to develop our TaaS roadmap; design and ship scrappy experiments to test opportunities and refine our prioritization
- Look across the overall product experience and ensure we have a consistent product voice
- Help develop and evangelize our product strategy, including interfacing with senior leaders throughout the company
At a minimum we’d like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or other technical education) or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of PM experience
- Experience with transportation and/or marketplaces
- Shipped multiple B2C products, proven track record of finding product market fit
It’s preferred if you have:
- Management consulting background, MBA, or equivalent experience
- Experience working through a comparable company growth stage (i.e. small eng team in fast growth)
- Experience in growth and/or Autonomous Vehicles
The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level.
