Overview of job

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic & Video Designer to join our content team. As a Graphic & Video Designer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and creating visually compelling designs and videos for various marketing materials and digital platforms. You will work closely with our agencies and content team to bring brands to life and effectively communicate their messages visually.

This role reports to:   Manager – Digital Content

What you’ll bring:

  • Collaborate with the writers and content team to understand design requirements and objectives.
  • Develop innovative design concepts, graphics, and layouts for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media posts and videos.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly designs for digital platforms, ensuring a consistent brand identity across all channels.
  • Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create high-quality designs.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and incorporate the latest design techniques and best practices into your work.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual identity.
  • Leveraging AI tools such as MidJourney and Luma to boost creativity and efficiently manage work.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro).
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Experience designing for both print and digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and receive feedback effectively.
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus for GDN creations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing design trends and technologies.
  • A passion for creativity and a willingness to explore new design approaches.
