We are looking for an Associate Buying Project Specialist to support our Buying team in the Merchandising division with managing and growing the assortment of brands and products sold on Grove.com. The role is responsible for providing support to the Buying team across various functional needs, such as vendor onboarding, vendor funding and co-op program support, sales reporting and business insights. This position participates in external vendor relationships with our wide variety of the brands sold on Grove.com. This role touches on many parts of the business with the core cross functional partners that include Buying, Legal, Inventory Management, Analytics, Site Merchandising, Marketing, and Creative. This role reports directly to the Sr. Buyer but will support all the Buyers on the team.
Responsibilities include:
VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS:
Support vendor relationships by owning the vendor onboarding process following a buyer’s decision to launch a brand on Grove.com Work with vendors to ensure Grove has the necessary information and documents to drive expedited vendor onboarding and item onboarding.
Assist in gathering the correct information for any vendor or Grove initiated site updates
MARKETING & SHOPPER MARKETING PROGRAM:
Follow up on the execution of our shopper marketing program, working closely with the buyers, marketing, and site merchandising teams to ensure agreed marketing placements are executed
Quantify quarterly funding costs, partnering with inventory management, buyers, and finance. Communicate and validate quarterly funding values with brand partners
Track results to validate ROI by understanding sales and brand lift
ANALYTICS & BUSINESS INSIGHTS:
Partner with Analytics and Buyers to create Looker, Heap, and G-sheet/Excel to create an expanded suite of standardized sales and vendor funded placement tracking
Pull monthly/quarterly sales tracking of vendor funded marketing placements, sharing with buying teams and brand partners
Ad hoc trend and other reporting as requested by the buying team
