Who you are
You are a seasoned professional adept at collaborating across various business functions. You have demonstrated a proven capacity to manage several projects concurrently while ensuring effective communication and timely updates. You exhibit a proactive approach, coupled with a strong motivation to succeed and to foster new business opportunities. While you thrive in a team environment, you are also capable of working autonomously without the need for daily interaction with colleagues.
Your experience includes a solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Airtable, and CRM systems. A background in supply chain management and operational expertise, including the ability to design business processes, is preferred, along with a fundamental understanding of GS1 Standards and their application in business processes.
What you will do
In short, you will support the development of customers and partners, employing a service-level approach to account management and solution-driven sales. Additionally, this position actively contributes to our Market Development strategy by identifying and delivering innovative solutions tailored to meet our customers' evolving needs, thereby fostering the broader adoption of GS1 US Standards
Here are a few more details about the role (other duties may be assigned):
- Creating/building marketing tools/resources for business development and strategic account management teams
- Supports all renewals, upgrades, and new business revenue targets.
- Supports account management to key customer accounts (individual or groups of customers) ensuring products & solutions support driving short-term and long-term customer business objectives.
- Supports regular account reviews to ensure relevance and impact of key account strategies.
- Supports prospecting efforts for channel partner and solution partner development.
- Coordinates and consults with internal matrix partners to deliver the right solution(s) to solve specific customer problems and achieve customer business objectives.
- Identifies solution enhancements or innovations to best serve & anticipate customer/industry needs.
- Identifies and resolves account issues (billing, customer service).
- Project management responsibilities - coordinating across teams - organization communication, etc.
- Coordination responsibilities with marketing on communication/presentation needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
