On behalf of Asahi, GT is looking for an Analytics Product Owner to join our dynamic team to lead the development of our data and analytics products.
The ideal candidate will have a strong CPG or retail background in data & analytics product/project management with a deep understanding of their technical development lifecycle. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features and their value, inputting into the design, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving their implementation to deliver business value in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
You will also learn about our fantastic business and be able to greatly impact our business transformation data and analytics initiatives.
Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data and analytics products.
Work with Business Owner
To gather and prioritize product requirements from stakeholders and users.
To define and prioritize product features and their business value. Compile overall business case, and drive stakeholders sign off.
Create and maintain a product backlog, ensuring it is complete, well-organized, and prioritized.
Responsible for regular planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.
Drive collaboration and coordination of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries and decisions.
Monitor and analyze product performance, using data to drive decision-making and improvements.
Ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, and adjust the product roadmap as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data product management, analytics and data science, and agile methodologies.
Ownership and self-starter mindset
Experience in CPG/retail industry, and their associated analytics use case.
Ability to think strategically and excellent business problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in Design thinking is an asset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to articulate technical solutions in business language, foster adoption, raise constructively project risks and issues, and provide internal or partner resources coaching and training.
Ability to work efficiently with offshore and partnership models
Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or similar role in a data/analytics-driven environment.
Proven experience in creating a business case and tightly managing a budget.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, risks, and issues of multiple projects simultaneously. The practice of Kanban agile methodology and flow approach is a definite asset.
Proven experience in implementing Product management practices in a data-driven environment. This includes the integration of these Product management practices into the technical development lifecycle of data products and related CI/CD practices.
Experience with Azure DevOps to maintain boards and project plans, integrating business value with technical delivery.
Familiarity with Azure analytics platforms and technologies. Experience in Azure Fabric and Dataiku is an asset.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Location: This role is mostly remote however being based in Warsaw, Poznan, Prague or Plzen is an asset. The ability to travel and participate in on-site workshops on demand is required.
