GTM Systems & Tools Manager (Remote)

Remote (US)

Muck Rack is the leading SaaS platform for public relations and communications professionals. Our mission is to enable organizations to build trust, tell their stories and demonstrate the unique value of earned media. Muck Rack’s Public Relations Management (PRM) platform enables PR teams to work together to find the right journalists for their stories, send customized pitches, build meaningful relationships with the media, monitor news, and quantify their impact.

Founder controlled, fully distributed, and growing sustainably, Muck Rack has received several awards for its unparalleled culture and product from organizations like Inc., G2, and BuiltIn. We value resilience, transparency, ownership, & customer devotion and infuse these values into everything we do.

We’re looking for a technical, process-driven GTM systems & tools manager who will own our Revenue Tech Stack to ensure it’s efficient, impactful and capable of enabling our growing Sales and Customer Success (CS) teams.

As our first GTM systems & tools manager, you will directly impact our GTM strategy as we continue to scale. You should be excited to serve as a systems architect and the person responsible for delivering an end-to-end operationally efficient tech stack that allows us to analyze data, inform strategy, and enable our GTM organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Be our gatekeeper for revenue technology and the subject matter expert both internally within Muck Rack, and externally with our vendors
  • Ensure our current inflight Salesforce implementation is tracking according to plan, and identify any needs or gaps prior to, and after launch—building a backlog for future use cases
  • Own system configurations (fields, workflows, point-to-point integrations between revenue systems) as well as vendor relationships
  • Build out a forward-looking systems timeline and lead implementations of new systems along with management of systems currently in place including: Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ChiliPiper, LeadIQ, Intercom, Hubspot, Salesforce or similar applications
  • Develop and document process and technical solutions that leverage functionality in our supported systems
  • Partner with GTM leadership on our end-to-end Sales and CS processes and align technology/solutions to these needs, as well as our internal data and analytics team to ensure trust in data mapping between systems
  • Manage any necessary platform migrations and integrations associated with the end-to-end design
  • Align with the customer journey by bringing the necessary context to system design to support a seamless experience for our customers
  • Stay ahead of industry trends including Salesforce releases and using the updates to promote optimized process and technical solutions while maintaining cost efficiency, system stability, security and reliability
  • Manage a team of at least one technical individual contributor

How success will be measured in this role:

  • Minimal down-time or requests for access across current team members
  • Clear and concise documentation and system roll-outs that ensure adoption
  • Increase in efficiency across Sales and CS teams over time (ie. more accessible data and faster deal closures)

If the details below describe you, you could be a great fit for this role:

  • 5+ years professional experience in a B2B operations role supporting Salesforce and associated tools within SaaS environments, as well as 2+ years of people management experience
  • Managed technology vendors including building and owning a list of requirements
  • Skilled at platform migration projects and able to discuss successful migrations, including large scale overhauls of existing platforms
  • Certified experience in SFDC workflows, custom integrations and API
  • Strong ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proven experience working cross functionally with business process owners and other partners to resolve and influence the best process and technology solutions for sophisticated business issues
  • Ability to clearly detail processes and develop technical solutions
  • Experience in CRM migration projects including standardizing sales processes and data sets
  • Experience and desire to look for opportunities to infuse AI into GTM systems and processes a plus
  • Experience in technical implementation consultant role a plus

Salary

In the US, the base salary for this role is between $100,000 - $130,000, depending on skills and experience with room for negotiation. Total compensation for this role consists of base salary, and a quarterly bonus plan. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.

Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. We recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated with you as a candidate.
