What You Will Do:

The Patient Account Representative is an extension of a client’s business office staff.

This is a Hybrid position working out of a GMS Managed Services office.

  • Representatives are responsible for working and entering IDR submissions for the No surprise Act.

  • Pulling information from databases

  • Saving relevant information into appropriate folders

  • They will pull remits and documents from the client system as well for the submissions and open negotiations.  

  • All client policies and procedures are followed. Representatives will perform any and all job-related duties as assigned.


What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of Relevant Equivalent Experience in Lieu of Diploma / GED.

  • 0-2+ year's experience in office, business, operations, customer service or healthcare field.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel.

  • Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • For insurance specific clients: 1+ year medical provider experience working with UB04, appeals & denials.

The annual salary range for this position is $31,000.00-$51,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
