National Account Executive, Bunnings (6-month contract)

Join our vibrant team at GWA, where our rich Australian and New Zealand heritage, technical expertise, and innovative drive, combine with our iconic brands to create something truly extraordinary. For over a century, we've been crafting innovative, high-quality products for homes and offices, including market-leading brands like Caroma, Methven and Clark.

As a National Account Executive, you will join our South Melbourne-based Sales team on a 6-month contract basis.  Working within a supportive and dynamic environment, you will support the National Business Manager in managing our key customer, Bunnings.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring effective communication, both internally and with external partners, particularly with an in-party provider of end-field services for our key customer.
  • Providing accurate forecasting, conducting detailed data analysis, and delivering valuable insights.
  • Creating impactful customer presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Analysing Excel reports to identify and highlight key trends and insights.

By excelling in these areas, you will play a vital role in the success of our sales team and contribute to the growth of this key account.

About you

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Coordinator or Account Executive role, with the following qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of both consumer and customer needs, with the ability to leverage data to develop effective strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen.
  • A high level of initiative and self-reliance.
  • Experience as a National Account Executive within the retail or FMCG sector and stores.
  • Strong brand and product knowledge (preferred but not essential).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 (highly advantageous).
