Job Description:
We are seeking a Surface Grinder / CNC Grinder Technician to join our team in Sterling Heights, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience with reciprocating flat grinders, automatic and CNC machine surface grinders, and strong measuring techniques. This role involves working with prototypes, producing parts for tools, splines, and completing milling, turning, and grinding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate reciprocating flat grinders, automatic surface grinders, and CNC machine surface grinders
• Use measuring techniques to ensure the precision of parts
• Work on various prototype projects in addition to main business operations, including tool making, spline production, and prototype grinding, milling, and turning
• Maintain high-quality standards for prototypes and parts produced
• Work efficiently and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Experience with reciprocating flat grinders, automatic surface grinders, and CNC grinding machines
• Strong understanding of measuring techniques for precise machining
• Ability to work with prototypes and understand detailed production processes
• Must pass a drug screen (weed is not permitted)
• Background checks are required (misdemeanors are acceptable)
• Must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
