What you’ll do:

As the Risk and Compliance Officer you will help us manage our risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our risk management and compliance programs. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our business practices align with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

You Will:

• Develop and implement risk management and compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of vulnerability in the company’s operations
• Develop and implement controls to mitigate identified risks
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure that compliance and risk management practices are embedded into business processes
• Provide training and support to internal teams to ensure they understand and comply with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders
• Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Stay up-to-date with regulatory developments and industry best practices to ensure that our risk management and compliance programs are effective and up-to-date

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management or compliance within the Fin-Tech industry
• Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Professional certification in risk management or compliance (e.g. CAMS, CRCM) is a plus

$70,000 - $90,000 a year

This position requires candidates to be located and legally authorized to work in the United States. Starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experiences, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 USD per year plus an equity compensation package.
