Designed for any advertiser and marketplace across industries, their platforms drive increased awareness, generate demand, and deliver measurable revenue growth.THE ROLEThis role is a strategic and hands-on Director of Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure systems. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this role offers the opportunity to shape the core technology backbone, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. As a leader, you will build and inspire a high-performing team while driving innovation, efficiency, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.• Develop and execute a strategic infrastructure plan aligned with business objectives.• Collaborate across teams to identify infrastructure needs and drive optimization and innovation initiatives.• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and policies to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure.• Monitor system performance, address issues proactively, and ensure minimal downtime.• Evaluate emerging technologies, recommending advancements to enhance infrastructure capabilities.• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.• Develop and manage budgets, forecasting resource requirements.• Recruit, mentor, and develop a talented infrastructure team in a collaborative environment.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s preferred.• Must have 8+ years of infrastructure management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.• Expertise in networking, virtualization, storage technologies, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).• Experience with real-time data processing, distributed systems, and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).• Experience designing and managing infrastructure for high-scale, low-latency SaaS applications.• Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet).• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
