Unlock your potential!Job Summary and QualificationsUnder indirect or direct supervision, compounds, dispenses, and distributes pharmaceutical products in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Confers with and assists medical professionals to provide cost-effective and high quality care to hospital patients. Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, orders laboratory tests, medication monitoring according to established policies and procedures. Assumes content expert role for specialty area, educates and participate in performance improvement initiatives as appropriate. Perform other duties as required.What qualifications you will need:• B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy• A current and valid license as a registered pharmacist in the state of California.• At least one of the following:a) Completion of post-graduate hospital PGY1/pharmacy general practice residency AND at least one year of clinical pharmacy experience within area of focusb) Completion of a post-graduate hospital PGY2/pharmacy specialty residency.c) Minimum 5 years of hospital clinical pharmacy experience within area of focusd) Specialty Board Certification; preferably within area of focus.Good Samaritan Hospital has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology.
