Head of DEI & ESG

AppLovin is looking for a talented and hands-on leader to head up our DEI and ESG efforts. This person will be a dynamic leader who executes on key DEI & ESG initiatives. Reporting directly to the CPO, the Head of DEI & ESG will be pivotal in developing programs and events that will further AppLovin’s commitment to diversity, belonging and inclusiveness, as well as environmental, social and community initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Strategically design, lead and execute global DEI and ESG initiatives while implementing AppLovin’s long term vision.
Make advancements in various DEI and ESG programs and create tangible ways to operationalize it.
Design DEI & ESG programs that will have impact and tangible results globally.
Develop and report metrics for baselines and building goals, measuring the effectiveness of programs through data analytics and engagement strategies.
Create programs, policies, and trainings to increase knowledge and awareness that supports inclusive behaviors.
Be a Change Leader. Influence strategic change at all levels across AppLovin globally. Head our AppLovin Care’s program and drive initiatives that will positively impact our local and global communities.
Represent the company externally and bring awareness to our DEI, ESG, Community, Environmental and Philanthropic efforts.

Requirements:

BS/BA degree with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and implementing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Environment, Social, and Corporate Governance programs.
Subject matter expert in creating DEI and ESG plans and executing on strategic initiatives globally.
Strategist as well as operationally focused to roll up the sleeves and execute as an individual contributor. Ability to work independently using high judgment and discretion to get things done and effectuate meaningful change.
Strong EQ: Lead with Empathy and have the ability to listen with intent, leverage curiosity and understand diverse perspectives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Have a strong ability to influence others at all levels. Strong knowledge of global sustainability, ESG methodologies and trends
