Head of Social Media
The Head of Social Media role owns, develops and drives the enterprise social media strategy for TIAA and Nuveen in support of the broader brand and client marketing plans, objectives and campaigns. The role is responsible for modernizing and reinventing the overall strategy - this includes overseeing the building plans, campaigns and content relevant to target audiences and driving engagement across multiple social channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Key Responsibilities and Duties

Create an enterprise social media strategy to deliver a balance of brand, product, thought leadership and personality in support of overall marketing strategy and organization goals. Areas of social media ownership for TIAA and Nuveen include Corporate/Organic/Owned, Sales Enablement/Employee Advocacy, and Executive Social Media Presence.
Execute the enterprise social media strategy, including content creation, content curation, campaign building, community management, community engagement and reporting.
Owning the social content strategy, including creating and publishing relevant, original, high-quality content, creating a regular publishing schedule and implementing a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns, promoting content through paid social media, and working with business partners to post and promote relevant content.
Monitoring of the social media and competitive landscape and driving our social media strategy to achieve client/follower acquisition, positive engagement with our brands, and traffic/conversions on the brand websites.
Partnering with a large, cross-functional team (e.g., client marketing, sales, corporate communications, PR, recruiting, etc.) to implement initiatives and ensure that all efforts are coherent and align with overall goals.
Define social engagement and conversation strategy – including targeting clients as well as other brand advocates (news outlets, thought leaders, etc.).
Expanding and evolving employees social media programs to expand brand reach, provide additional business development opportunities and elevate thought leaders.

Base Pay Range: $184,700/yr. - $307,800/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
