As the Director, IT Infrastructure at Health Gorilla, you will report to the CTO. You will set strategic direction for our technical infrastructure (including hardware, software, servers, services, databases, storage solutions, networks, audiovisual equipment) to support our needs. This role must ensure reliable 24x7 operations. You'll play a critical role in enabling our daily operations and the scale-up of our SaaS business. This is a strategic role tasked with building and maintaining a best in class IT Operations function that operates with a Cloud-first (AWS) and DevOps mindset.
- Assess the IT infrastructure and operations organization (people, process, and technology)
- Lead the IT infrastructure and operations organization in AWS-based operations
- Maintain a strategy for technology that supports business growth and goals
- Develop standards and procedures to support our needs as they scale
- Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and operating level agreements according to our goals and customer needs
- Manage the SRE and IT Helpdesk teams and be hands-on when needed
- Establish partnerships with external vendors to support hardware and software
- 5+ yrs experience in technology infrastructure, including cloud, with 2+ years managing diverse teams
- Experience with end-to-end IT project management in a start-up environment
- Experience working with a Managed Service Provider to provide help desk support and security oversight
- Have a deep experience in DevOps with proven results enabling continuous deployment and continuous integration (CI/CD)
- Team, vendor, and project management experience
- Experience defining and implementing cybersecurity policies
- Familiarity with cloud resource administration and security, networking and firewall rules
- Experience gathering system requirements from diverse team members
- Health Gorilla takes a market-based approach to pay, and the base salary range for this role is $160,000 to $230,000, based on experience and geography. Please note that ranges may be modified at any time, and there is no guarantee offers will be at the top of a posted range.
