Head of Risk Strategy and Operations - USA Remote

Location Details:

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

The Product Risk and Strategy team is tasked with crafting the world’s first Risk Refinery - where we mitigate risks for our SMBs and GoDaddy and flip it as an opportunity to grow the business. We lead a multitude of areas and products, from Fraud and Credit Risk to the enablement of onboarding high-risk verticals (e.g., CBD).

You will lead mission critical, cross-functional efforts, that deliver objective analysis and insights, and incubate new initiatives. You may dig into winning new market segments, crafting new business systems and processes to scale our group, help us build and launch new products, or unlock new revenue opportunities.

Whatever it is, we work on what will move the needle most for GoDaddy. We care about results, not activity, and we have fun doing it.

• Design and implement the business and operational systems and processes that help us scale within GoDaddy and operate at pace
• Work to prioritize, coordinate, and launch the initiatives that are most critical to GoDaddy
• Help identify and implement new opportunities for our group’s products
• Perform analyses and research that help us make the right growth decisions for GoDaddy
• Incubate and help run new teams

Your experience should include...

• 10 + years proven experience in a high-growth payments company
• 5 + years demonstrating building and leading data science and risk operations teams
• Experience in a highly strategic, analytical, and operational role in fast-paced environments
• Professional experience in Machine Learning and Data Science
• A proven track record for working well across teams and with external partners
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A process-oriented approach and ability to lead people to get things done
